Sperm morphology is an important predictor of fertility and is often the most influential parameter in selecting fertility treatment and ART options. But it’s often a subjective process that requires QC to keep performing the analysis the same way. Without careful QC, it’s very easy to become more and more strict with the definition of normal, until no one can find a normal sperm any more. AQC105 is the basis for a QC program that can produce consistent and uniform classification of normal and various abnormal forms over time and among technologists. The product has Levey-Jennings plots for percent normal forms using both WHO3rd edition and WHO4th/Strict classification systems, as well as charts with mean and 2SD range for abnormal cell differential based on WHO 3rd edition classification.
